3 Bedroom Cottage in Blind Bay

This 3 bedroom 2 bath semi lakefront cottage is in blind bay on beautiful Shuswap lake it has everything you need the views are amazing, there is a large deck for your enjoyment to watch the beautiful sunsets , there is a beach, dock and buoy. There is a swim dock you can swim out to There are hiking, biking trails right from the back of the property. There are golf courses, farmers markers and live bands on Thursday nights in the park just down the road. Finz pub/restaurant is walking distance. Blind bay store is a 2 min drive. Swim in the crystal clear lake or go cliff diving on copper island . Salmon arm is 20 mins away which has l.ots of stores, restaurants farmers markets etc. there are a couple places to rent boats and seadoos. No pets/no smoking
Our place is in the woods near the lake wildlife enjoy the lake life too and sometimes make a visit to our property or inside the unit . Please call us if there is any issuses. Only guests that are registered/booked at the property are allowed day guests ok with owner approval
we live close by or available by phone as well if guests have any questions or need help with anything. We have 1 security camera for your safty as well as ours it is only on the exterior facing the parking area

Summary: The property is set on Blind Bay which we found, upon speaking with others and for ourselves, is one of the nicest places on the Shuswaps. The water is usually cam which is great for paddle boarding at any time. There are boats of all kinds to rent in the area and everyone we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The community is cute and the local grocery store is well-stocked and reasonably priced with produce, fresh meat and liquor. The house is not fancy but spacious and clean and the air conditioner works well. The deck is gorgeous and the kitchen is well-stocked and the barbecue is great. There is even a “beer fridge” outside. There are amazing hiking trails behind the cabin as well. Blind Bay lookout is a must! There is a fire burning nearby but much less smoke than expected. FINZ restaurant was excellent too. This was a very relaxing vacation and we plan to return.

Summary: Our stay at this Blind Bay property was excellent!! The cabin is super clean and comfortable and has everything you need in a kitchen. We enjoyed sitting out each night on the deck for dinner and games. The beach and dock are down a short driveway, and across the street but there is private parking set aside to accommodate if you take a vehicle. We brought paddleboards down to the beach so we took our truck each day. We brought a boat that we tied up at the dock and chairs are provided on the beach by the owners . The owners and caretakers of the property are AMAZING! Super helpful and friendly but stay completely out of sight unless you need something. Very prompt communication answering any questions we had. We will definitely be back!!!! Thanks again we had a very memorable time with our family.

Summary: We had a great time at this property. The cabin is clean and spacious for our family of 4. The owners and host were very friendly and helpful. They were available to answer any questions we had. With having a dock, floating dock and boat buoy, we were able to easily get out and enjoy the lake. Overall this is a great location with restaurant, groceries, beach, boat launch and trails all within 5 minutes or closer. Great place to stay.
